2010 WRCS No.12

Depending on who you ask, this was either the best or worst WRCS to date. Conditions were perfect for a hockey game and some bike riding.

Here is the best stat of the ride: 30 kilometers covered in 1 hour and 28 minutes. Now that is a blistering pace, though the 2 kilometer hike-a-bike-run down a closed road is probably what kept the group from averaging the intended 52 km/h (this ruthless section was the best workout of the evening in case you were wondering).

Expect to add some additional distance to this Sundays Cafe Mondo Loop - a trip through the downtown Burg.

    Did you say a 2 km walk. I thought it was a 10 km walk. The snowmobile riding past us was a nice touch. But at least I was comfortable with the winter riding boots. Oh yeah and I think my calves are the size of Chris's after that walk.

    Best ride? maybe, shortest for sure. And it takes more than a 2km leisurely walk to get the calves like me. This is a 30 year work out regime.

    Ride implies sitting on a bike and pedaling Pak. Maybe best hike ever.

    First time writer long time reader. They ride was refreshing -Adam it's never a dull moment. You've made me a better rider this winter
