MNW News

Monday Night Worlds had a good group of cyclists out. In addition to the usual dudes/dudettes a special guest rider made an appearance.

Rick Hunter of Hunter Cycles was briefly in town and tagged along. Developing into a cult status, Rick has been building custom bicycles for nearly 20 years out of his hometown of Watsonville, California. With his roots in cross, Hunter Cycles also kicks out 29'ers, road, track, or even the occasional unicycle.

Unfortunately, Rick was borrowing a bike for the ride and the feeling of plastic beneath him must have felt fake and sacrilegious when compared to his custom steel and aluminum creations. Or maybe it converted him? Though most definitely not.

Other MNW News...

This upcoming Monday June 22nd, a BBQ blowout will follow the ride along with the highly procrastinated W.R.C.S. Awards. All welcome. Bring your own bike, meats, drinks, and hot-lapping BMX skills.

  2. Why do the cycling Gods hate me? To cap off possibly the worst month of cycling luck ever tonight I was biten by a dog! No blood was drawn but still, enough is enough. Other than that awesome ride tonight. Pak you're an animal, we should all look so good after breaking our neck 4 weeks ago.
