It's a sport, hobby, or a reason to wear a costume for most cyclists.
But regardless of your motivation, it requires a lot of enthusiasm to train, compete or just simply ride. Emotions are easily evoked when the intensity of the efforts are demanding on the body.
Everyone who puts out the efforts wants nothing more then a little respect in return and it can be easy to forget to pay forward the same courtesy when its all on the line.
Cycling is a dramatic endeavour, with highs and lows and powerful story lines that play out over some of the simplest and most awe-inspiring playing fields in sport. Embrace it and respect that it still is a sport, one that requires a lot of passion.
