Took a pre-ride of the course for race No.2 of the Country Cross Series. It is going to be a blitz of wooded bliss - and that is a good thing.
But before that can happen, race No.1 being held this Saturday must be tackled which will serve as a nice tune-up. This first course will be flat and open, perfect for the die-hard roadies or the cyclo-cross newbies. Will you have fun regardless or your cycling allegiance? Guaranteed.
Here are some directions for Saturdays race (Nov.6):
- From Windsor, take HWY 401 East.
- Take Exit 48 Comber/Stoney Point/Leamington
- From the off ramp turn Left onto Provincial Route 77
- Take first Right onto Lakeshore Rd. 305/5th Concession (2 km from 401)
- 4th house on the Left (2 km down)
Saturday's forecast looks to be sunny and brisk. Perfect.
