The Breaks

The past Monday Night Worlds was looking to be a good one, then the 30 minute flat happened.

But, that was O.K. because fatigue had the body begging for mercy anyways. Fast forward a couple of days and race No.3 of the Ciociaro Series had the body yielding to the pain again.


LESSONS LEARNED:

1. Always carry a valve extender OR a tube with an 80 mm valve when using a deep dish wheelset.

2. More riding is in order.

    Add equal parts hangover, in-laws visiting, slept in, missed Sunday morning group ride with solo ride of the Ruthven Hills loop, one banana and 2 water bottles (1 water 1 Blue Gatorade) for a grand total of 1 serious bonk 12km from home.

    Monday night should be awesome!
