Small pelotons and a bit of wind can make for some challenging racing. But embrace it, because having a local circuit to race on consistently is a thing of excruciating beauty.
In time the fields will grow, but for now expect to line up next to the same 20 guys (and gals) every two weeks and take relentless shots at each other - all in the name of cycling. So now comes the hard part - what do you do for the next two weeks to prepare? Do you train non-stop? Or, do you go for the taper and rest regime?
JLo - you are overtrained. Rest, relax, and don't touch the bike until May 13th.
