A day off with nothing to do but ride. Well, certainly there were other things that could have/should have been done, but a ride without time constraints are few and far between.
Headed East and got a mere 30 clicks from home and ended up in previously uncharted territory. Riding a 'new' road in your own backyard is part astounding, part exciting.
3 is the hot number for tomorrow's Taco Ride. 3 chicken supreme tacos. 3 not 4.

Every July the best cyclists take part in the Tour de France. You can have
a few exceptions but they often just prove the rule. But what would it take
to...
Sounds like it was a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to spend a day!
ReplyDelete3 is a hot number! hope you all have a good Taco Evening!
I heard 5 is the new 3.
ReplyDeleteLooks like yucky gravel roads to me, probably the worst ride ever.
ReplyDeleteThough I agree with some of the above comment I didn't make it. Gravel roads are terible but a 150km ride was most likely not the worst ride ever. In fact it was probably really awesome because Adam (riding solo) didn't have to spend time with any a%@hole impersonators like the previous poster.
ReplyDeleteJohn
I can't wait to see some of the new roads you found. Make sure that Va-John-a is warned well ahead of time. It is not really anonymous it is Manny's Buddy. Who am I douchebags?
ReplyDelete5$ says comment 5 is from Jimmy. P.S. I hope the Taco ride was great.
ReplyDelete120kms + 5 tacos filled with mystery meat + 4 beers = drunk (2 of them were king cans, alright!!??).
ReplyDeletebest.
ride.
ever.
dante you forgot to mention the 5 flats
ReplyDeleteGot greedy with the tacos. Had 4 not 3. No.4 was a poor decision. JLo killed my Eat-More. And my dreams.
ReplyDeleteI found out that 2 tacos and 120 kms of riding does not mix, I could hardly move this morning.
ReplyDeletePopeye's riding is getting a little weak!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks more like a harness track than a road.
ReplyDeleteThat's artist photography!
