The second day started off with the morning assessment of the previous nights events. The pleasant surprise of being functional meant we got to do it all again.
Another big ride was in store with something unfamiliar to us - elevation. Ripping twisty descents on the way out we found ourselves slowly grinding steep pitches on the way home.
Once back, it was time to commence the recovery portion of the day. Just remember you have 20 minutes after the completion of a workout to repair the broken down muscles - preferably with hop and barley shakes.
